Sequin Sleeves For The Win

SEQUIN SLEEVE SWEATER ( on sale & a ton of colors available!) || JEANS (old, similar HERE) || BOOTIES (mine are old from Aldo, but I linked an exact pair I found) || BAG || LIPS (in "Pink Plaid")

You all know I'm a sucker for anything girly so this pink sequin sweater is up my ally! I love the oversized fit and it's pretty thin so I'm definitely taking it with me into Spring. This sweater comes in several colors and conveniently on sale just in time
for this post haha! It would also look so cute with white pants and heels for a more dressed up Valentine's Day look.

You all have probably noticed I've been wearing THIS lip color a lot lately, but I can't help it! I LOVE the formula! It goes on so smooth and pigmented! It's actually my first MAC purchase along with THIS GLOSS in "Snob" (I know, I'm living under a rock) but it definitely won't be my last. I will need to stock up on more colors.

Hope you're all having a great Tuesday! I've been on such a health kick and I'm feeling so good! I asked you all a few questions on Instastories to help with an upcoming fitness post you all have been requesting so please help me by answering them so I can help YOU :) You can DM me, email me or leave your answers here. Thanks for stopping by! XO!

Favorite Loungewear: Striped Joggers

Hope you all had a great weekend and had a better Mid-Monday than I did haha! I started my morning with my husband over coffee and then everything has been so stressful since! I updated the program I usually use to edit my photos over the weekend and there's a glitch where I can't export them anymore. Anyone close to me knows I can't handle technology breaking down/not working. Bless my poor husband having to put up with me these past few weeks trying to figure out this whole online school program and its downsides haha! He's got a heart of gold! Anyways, five hours later here we are, finally! The behind the scenes is definitely far from glitz & glam, but I can't complain... anything for you all & these striped joggers lol!

Since starting Nurse Practitioner school, I have spent most of my days at my desk and traded my scrubs for cute loungewear. These striped pants have been my favorite loungewear buy so far! They are so comfortable and you all know I'm a sucker for anything striped! I love it paired with this "Coffee Please" tee because, well, story of my life! They have so many different color stripes: black, red, grey (I want these next), and lavender grey with white stripes and different designs you can find HERE which are all so cute! The bottoms are scrunchy, but I fold them inward because my legs aren't the longest and they hold so well.

I have a yummy salad waiting for me after my workout, so I'm going to get to sweating, finish some more school work, then wind down & watch the Bachelor. I'm always excited for Bachelor Monday's, but when the episode is over I'm like why did I just watch all that!? Haha! Especially after last week's craziness! Anyone else on that boat?

Thanks for stopping by. See you back here tomorrow! XO!

Spring Transition Outfit & Tips

SWEATER c/o || JEANS (similar HERE) || SHOES (more color options available. Different strap style HERE) || BAG || LIPS (in "Pink Plaid")

You all know my obsession with cozy oversized sweaters and this one from Piace Boutique is definitely the coziest sweater I own! It is so soft and comfy! I love the pretty lavender color and it's perfect to wear as we get into spring because it is not too thick. You can also wear it off the shoulder. A lightweight sweater, white pants, and wedges is one of my favorite looks for winter to Spring transition.

There are so many other tips and secrets to transitioning your outfits into Spring, but here are some of my favorites:

All About The Shoes

My favorite thing to wear into Spring are open toe shoes. I especially love open toe booties or these wedges above that will definitely be on repeat until Fall! Don't toss those winter booties too far though! They would also look cute with jeans & a tee or shorts & a lightweight sweater.

Show Me Some Skin

Now, I don't mean flaunt that birthday suit but the sun's shining and it's getting warm, so let that winter skin absorb some Vitamin D! Whether you're wearing an off the shoulder top, tee shirt, or tank, toss those heavy winter layers in exchange for something lighter.

Pull Out The Pastels

Anything pastel colored screams Spring. Just like in this particular outfit, wearing light colors made it more Spring-y as opposed to pairing this sweater with, say, black leggings, black booties, and dark accessories which would give more of a Winter vibe.

White Pants

Anything paired with white pants automatically give a fresh, put together look. I especially love pairing white pants into Spring with neutral or light colored sweaters.

Frost Yourself

If you're a How to Lose a Guy In Ten Days fan like me and understood this title, I love you! Haha! But really, accessories make or break any look so make sure your accessories match the season! I always trade my dark colored bags for my colored or neutral ones. You can also add a lightweight scarf to an outfit which I love doing because you can take it off if it gets to warm or throw in on when it gets chilly.

Pink Lace Dress & Valentino Dupes

DRESS (also comes in white) || SHOES (more sizes HERE) || BAG (dupe HERE) || WATCH || LIPS c/o

Here I go with pink again (sorry!) But it's almost Valentine's day & on Wednesday's we wear pink, so maybe I'm not so sorry ;)

I have been looking for a dress to wear to a wedding we're going to on the west coast in a few weeks and I hit the jackpot with this one! The pretty lace details make it look so much more expensive than it actually is and perfect for a wedding. I also love the see-through sleeves. I paired it with these Valentino Rockstud T-Strap dupes (real version HERE). These look identical and, well, more than $900 less and SO comfortable! I will need to break them in really good so I don't blister being in them all day at the wedding but they are so easy to walk in and really so comfortable! They sell out super fast though, so make sure you put yourself on the waitlist and buy them as soon as your size restocks. I have seen them restock a few times, so keep an eye out!

I ordered this dress from the main ShopStevie website that I linked above, but they are sold out in a size small. I did find a rep that still has a small HERE. Like I have mentioned on other blog posts before, if I find something I love on the main site that's sold out, I usually ask around on Instagram or google the product name and look for my size on different rep sites. So far, I have always found a rep that has my size if the main site doesn't. Love that about this boutique! (No, this isn't sponsored lol, just helping my sistas out!) XO!!
